DAY1

MARMARIS

Marmaris is a seaport village and a tourist spot on the Mediterranean seashore, positioned in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, along the shoreline of the Turkish Riviera.

Marmaris` mainstay of income is tourism. DAY 2

ARAP ISLAND, KADIRGA BAY

Arap Island lies on the north of spot; Comlek burnu and it is settled between Küçük Arap Adası and Kara Ada. While entering into this narrow cove, keep isle on your starboard. The northern part of the passage is really shallow. Boats can berth in 6-7m with a line ashore to the beach side. It provides sheltering from prevailing winds. Besides its unique natural beauty, the bay is significant for its proximity to historical sites. It is only 2 kms away from the Antic port of Assos. On the eastern side, the bay has a view of Ayvalık and on the west, it views Greek island Lesbos.

 

Kadırga Bay is one of the beaches of Turkey that is awarded with a Blue Flag (is an award that is given to beaches and marinas that have met stringent standards). The sea is admired for the quality and coolness of the water, for the magnificent colors and shapes of pebbles and also for the beatufiul piles of fish that swim next to you.

 

 

Kadırga Bay is also a perfect site for fishing. Almost every time of the year, The shore is filled with fishermen that spend the whole night at the beach. Some of the fish that you can fish are: sea bass, gilt-head bream, sea bream, sargo, garfish and etc.

DAY3

BOZUKKALE, SERCE BAY                                     

Bozukkale (Loryma) is an old town that dates back from 10 BC. There are nine towers of the castle walls lenghtening in a opposingly orthogonal pattern. The castle and towers are very well guarded and appear in a durable state. “Kale” means `corrupted`. Therefore, the name of the place may be ascribed to the fact that one side of the castle is missing. Bozukale used to serve as a cove cruise stretch for British naval ships and is now considered as a shipyard on the shore.

It was used as a area to watch all the yachts and gulets in the Aegean Sea. Its crucial geographic locating and narrow harbour was also used by the ships sailing from the port of Athens. In 395 BC, the Athenian commandant, Karori, is known to have visit here. Before the Cnidus War of 305 BC.

DAY4

BOZBURUN, DIRSEKBUKU

Bozburun is famuous for the deriving sponge profession and Gullet Yacht building industry. Dirsekbuku is located between the Gulf in the Aegean Sea and the Gulf of Hisaronu. There are many tourists travelling from Bodrum to Marmaris who stop here for a rest, which is why this region is replete with several sheltered bays. In addition, Dirsekbuku offers a great cruising experience, especially if you are leaving the different islands and sailing around Hisaronu in the morning.

 

DAY 5

EMEL SAYIN BAY, ORHANIYE BAY, SELIMIYE BAY

 

Named after the queen and ambassador of Turkish classical music, Emel Sayin, this place is indeed a great holiday destination with its mesmerizing smell of the pine trees, clear sea coast, awe-inspiring views of the bays and warm and welcoming people.      

Featuring its deep, crystal clear and charming blue sea and the famous Kizkumu beach, Orhaniye is a charming place and all tourists ara amazed by its beauty. The Selimiye village which is in the Mugla territory of Marmaris is the pearl of the Cove of Hisaronu. The old name of this town was Hydas, which got evolved to Losta. At sunset, the sun disappearing behind the mountains surrounding the village seems to dye the scenery in a rich red hue.

The ancient site of Bybossos Hydas (Selimiye) has ruins dating back to the archaic period. One of the highest mounts of the zone is in Selimiye, the other one at the top of Sarikaya and the last one has three castle ruins, including the Kizilkoy Asarkale area. The sheep-like southeast mounts are visited by foreign tourists want to explore the castle ruins dating back to the Hellenistic ages.

The grave in the south part of the maidan is located 100 meters offshore from the seashore and guides ships the way to the Selimiye.

DAY 6

AKTUR BAY, BENCIK BAY

                          

Witness the world`s oxygen tank at Aktur! Spotted with pine trees, it definitely is a slice of paradise. In fact, it won the title of the most beautiful bay inTurkey and proved to be a hot tourist destination. Aktur consists of two units, namely Datca and Kurucabuk, located at a distance of 4 km from each other. The Hisaronu bay is located very close to the narrowest strip of the Datca peninsula and zones the Cove of Gokova from the Cove of Hisaronu. Around 550 BC, it provided service as a defense line against the Persian army who wanted to have both Hisaronu Cove and the Gokova Cove by digging a tunnel along kilometers.

With its pretty beach, shallow sea and windy weather that frees you, It’s a teeny tiny must-seen place that you can visit in your Turkyacht Gulet.

Palamutbuku is famuous for having the most beautiful beaches in the Datca peninsula. The beaches are small but very beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and spotted with gardens, these beaches are known for their tranquility and fresh sea air that together present the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. Palamutbuku is positioned at the end of the peninsula and is also known for the ruins of the historical city of Knidos. Knidos, known for its bounty of fish, is located about 12 kms away.

 Bodrum is a port town in Muğla city, in the southwest of Aegean Region of Turkey. It is placed on the southern coast of Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that controls the entrance into the Gulf of Gökova. The city was known as Halicarnassus of Caria in ancient times and was known for housing the Mausoleum of Mausolus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.      

Bodrum Castle, built by the Crusaders in the 15th century, it had the view of harbor and the marina. The castle grounds include a Museum of Underwater Archeology and entertains many cultural festivals year long.
