DAY– 1
BODRUM

Bodrum is a port town in Muğla city, in the southwest of Aegean Region of Turkey. It is placed on the southern coast of Bodrum Peninsula, at a point that controls the entrance into the Gulf of Gökova. The city was known as Halicarnassus of Caria in ancient times and was known for housing the Mausoleum of Mausolus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
Bodrum Castle, built by the Crusaders in the 15th century, it had the view of harbor and the marina. The castle grounds include a Museum of Underwater Archeology and entertains many cultural festivals year long.
DAY– 2
AQUARIUM BAY, MERSINCIK BAY
Adabogazi (Aquarium Bay) derives its name from the word “Aquarium” simply because the water here is so clear. You can see as deep as 30m with the naked eye! There are small bays at the west end of the west end and together with the crystal clear waters, present a perfect feast to the senses.
The Mersincik Cove is on the Northern part of Datca and surrounded by fascinating forests, crystal clear blue waters and golden sandy bottom sea. As it is quite inviting and calm, this bay is preferred by yachtsmen.
DAY – 3
AKTUR BAY, KNIDOS (CNIDUS)
Witness the world`s oxygen tank at Aktur! Spotted with pine trees, it definitely is a slice of paradise. In fact, it won the title of the most beautiful bay inTurkey and proved to be a hot tourist destination. Aktur consists of two units, namely Datca and Kurucabuk, located at a distance of 4 km from each other. The Hisaronu bay is located very close to the narrowest strip of the Datca peninsula and zones the Cove of Gokova from the Cove of Hisaronu. Around 550 BC, it provided service as a defense line against the Persian army who wanted to have both Hisaronu Cove and the Gokova Cove by digging a tunnel along kilometers.
Being a mini island betwixt the two coves, it absolutely made a good point of defense. However, even though the work was started with big efforts, the city was conquered in the en by the Persians.

BOZBURUN, DIRSEKBUKU
Bozburun is famuous for the deriving sponge profession and Gullet Yacht building industry. Some of the best woods and artisans for building solid and pretty Gullet Boats are staysin this region, which is why the most successful names in the business employ Bozburun’s Gulet builders. Owing to its Gulet and Yacht producing industries, Bozburun has become a main magnet, visited by tourists from all around the world.
Dirsekbuku is located between the Gulf in the Aegean Sea and the Gulf of Hisaronu. There are many tourists travelling from Bodrum to Marmaris who stop here for a rest, which is why this region is replete with several sheltered bays. In addition, Dirsekbuku offers a great cruising experience, especially if you are leaving the different islands and sailing around Hisaronu in the morning.
DAY – 6
ARAP ISLAND, KADIRGA BAY
Arap Island lies on the north of spot; Comlek burnu and it is settled between Küçük Arap Adası and Kara Ada. While entering into this narrow cove, keep isle on your starboard. The northern part of the passage is really shallow. Boats can berth in 6-7m with a line ashore to the beach side. It provides sheltering from prevailing winds. Strong westerlies send swell and it is funneled down fom the valley by the beach side. Local fishing boats berth on the east of the beach. Small boats can anchor here. Care is needed for the shoal water. A rough path from the beach leads up the and reaches Taşlıca Village (3.5 km). You can observe animal grazing by the beach side and feel country style life.
The bay is named Kadırga (Galley) Bay regarding to its history being used to construct galleys during Ottoman Empire. Kadırga Bay is a very silent, 2 km North Aegean beach with a perfect sea shore. Besides its unique natural beauty, the bay is significant for its proximity to historical sites. It is only 2 kms away from the Antic port of Assos. On the eastern side, the bay has a view of Ayvalık and on the west, it views Greek island Lesbos.
Kadırga Bay is one of the beaches of Turkey that is awarded with a Blue Flag (is an award that is given to beaches and marinas that have met stringent standards). The sea is admired for the quality and coolness of the water, for the magnificent colors and shapes of pebbles and also for the beatufiul piles of fish that swim next to you.

MARMARIS
Marmaris is a seaport village and a tourist spot on the Mediterranean seashore, positioned in Muğla Province, southwestern Turkey, along the shoreline of the Turkish Riviera. Marmaris` mainstay of income is tourism. It has an special locating between two intersectant sets of mountains by the sea, though following a building boom in the 1980s, little is left of the inactive fishing village that Marmaris was until the late 20th century. In 2010 the town`s population was 30,957, and peaks at around 300,000 to 400,000 people during the tourist season. DAY – 8
KUMLU BUKU, PARADISE ISLAND
Kumlu Buku is a pretty big cove laying one mile north of Kadirga Limani, close to Marmaris. Set in a wondrous view, the bay is overlooked by the remains of the old settlement of Amos. There are an acropolis, an amphitheatre, a temple and an altar to Dionysus to explore. It’s quite a hike up to this important historic site but the efforts of those who persist will be rewarded with spectacular views out over the bay. And on the way down, the excellent crepes served by the Hotel Dionysus, located on the bay, will taste all the better.
A restaurant with enticing straw huts full of giant cushions sits right on the shore and is a delightful place to lounge for a few hours. The restaurant serves pretty decent Chinese food, which may be of interest if you have overdone it on the meze or had enough grilled meat on your Kumlu Buku yacht charter. As the sun sets, the staff from the restaurant light huge torches all down the beach and the jetties are lit up with underwater lights – it’s a spectacular sight. The pristine clear waters of the bay offer good snorkeling.

DAY – 9
BOZUKKALE, SERCE BAY
Bozukkale (Loryma) is an old town that dates back from 10 BC. There are nine towers of the castle walls lenghtening in a opposingly orthogonal pattern. The castle and towers are very well guarded and appear in a durable state. “Kale” means `corrupted`. Therefore, the name of the place may be ascribed to the fact that one side of the castle is missing. Bozukale used to serve as a cove cruise stretch for British naval ships and is now considered as a shipyard on the shore. It was used as a area to watch all the yachts and gulets in the Aegean Sea. Its crucial geographic locating and narrow harbour was also used by the ships sailing from the port of Athens. In 395 BC, the Athenian commandant, Karori, is known to have visit here. Before the Cnidus War of 305 BC.
Serce is where the Blue Cruise Gulets berth. The place provides a wonderful image of the bottom of the harbour ands is well sheltered from the roughest weather conditions. Underwater researches and digging have led to many discoveries including many centuries old glasswork, which is now kept in the Bodrum Under water Museum.
Sparrow Harbor is one of the finest places for such archaeological findings. About one kilometer after of Sparrow, on the right are the towns of Kİrkkuyular and Sindilli, where several deserted stone houses can be seen. In Kİrkkuyular, the area’s oldest mansion, there are fourty cisterns. The water in this place is salty and unfit for animal farming and agriculture. The residents use the boreholes for household use.
DAY – 10
SELIMIYE BAY
The Selimiye village which is in the Mugla territory of Marmaris is the pearl of the Cove of Hisaronu. The old name of this town was Hydas, which got evolved to Losta. At sunset, the sun disappearing behind the mountains surrounding the village seems to dye the scenery in a rich red hue.
The ancient site of Bybossos Hydas (Selimiye) has ruins dating back to the archaic period. One of the highest mounts of the zone is in Selimiye, the other one at the top of Sarikaya and the last one has three castle ruins, including the Kizilkoy Asarkale area. The sheep-like southeast mounts are visited by foreign tourists want to explore the castle ruins dating back to the Hellenistic ages. The grave in the south part of the maidan is located 100 meters offshore from the seashore and guides ships the way to the Selimiye.
Other sections of interest include a observation tower, a lighthouse, an abbey and an ancient theater. American underwater archeologists and scientists are engrossed in investigating submersed wrecks in the zone and have discovered valuable findings that are now exhibited in the Bodrum Underwater Museum. DAY – 11
BENCIK BAY Just across the cove from Selimiye, Bencik provides you a calm and safe anchorage in amongst a charming pine forest. It is possible to get ashore on to a lawn, but there are no facilities. Bencik Bay which has a very narrow entranceway but a unique landscape once you get inside. Bencik is positioned at the narrowest part of the peninsula that separates Hisaronu Gulf from the Gokova Gulf but it is located at Hisaronu side.
DAY – 12
DATCA
Datca was discovered by the Dorians who live in the Aegean islands and the southern coast ofIonia. This peninsula is located between the Aegean Sea and theMediterranean Sea. At the end of the chersonese, at a distance of around 38 kms is the old Carian city of Knidos, which was defined by Strabo as the city built for the most beautiful goddess, Aphrodite, on the most fascinating peninsula. It was also believed that about 500 years before, the Spanish pirates sailing left leprosy patients to death’s arms here but the sunny weather of the peninsula healed the patients! Anyway, the nature is so calming and wonderful there and that’s why you may take a walk in Datca Harbour.
DAY – 13
PALAMUTBUKU
Palamutbuku is famuous for having the most beautiful beaches in the Datca peninsula. The beaches are small but very beautiful. Surrounded by mountains and spotted with gardens, these beaches are known for their tranquility and fresh sea air that together present the perfect backdrop for a rejuvenating getaway. Palamutbuku is positioned at the end of the peninsula and is also known for the ruins of the historical city of Knidos. Knidos, known for its bounty of fish, is located about 12 kms away.
The waters here are glassy so that people were convinced that if you take a needle at the very bottom of the sea, you can still see it! ORAK ISLAND, YALICIFTLIK
Orak Island, positioned 10 miles to the east of Bodrum, is known for its rich maritime life and crystal clear blue waters. It is a popular point where Gulets and Sailing Yachts on Gokova trips do not pass without pausing. The island stretches opposite of the Kargicik Isle and has prominent shores guarded with olive trees in the down slopes of the mounts. There is no settling on the island but there are sheltered bays that you can berth at in the north. To its east, the sea looks like an aquarium. Tea will be served in Yaliciftlik Cove. An optional town tour can be organised from this bay for those people who want to experience the local life.
Yaliciftlik is settled outside of Bodrum peninsula and 30 kms from the city-center. It is enveloped by isolated small coves, crystal clear bluesea and charming pine forests. Through beautiful pine forests on a breezing road past white-washed cisterns is the beach at Yaliciftlik. This shingle beach has many many restaurants and cafes around it, serving good affordable delicious foods.
